TEN REASONS NOT TO HONOR ISRAEL

This list of reasons not to honor Israel was compiled in order to dispel the hate propaganda and blatant lies that Christians United for Israel (CUFI) is being allowed to spew at Van Buren High School near Findlay, Ohio. Here they propose to hold a Night to Honor Israel on October 27, 2011.

This is being repeated at several other schools across America.

Students at Van Buren High School…just one of thousands of Christian Zionist institutions scattered across America where children are being brainwashed into supporting the criminal agenda of the state of Israel. 

While this Zionist propaganda fest is being held after school hours, it is nevertheless being promoted among the student body who are apparently unaware that they are being subjected to a systematic campaign of indoctrination. Indeed, Van Buren Superintendent Tim Myers has confided that he is considering handing out to his students the highly slanted (and anti-Palestinian) “educational material” that has been offered to him by Christians United for Israel.

CUFI is to charge $15 per adult and $10 per student for attendance at this event celebrating the alleged virtues of Israel.

There are people who believe that our country is too far gone to be salvaged. They may well have a point. But are we ready to surrender our children to the evils of indoctrination and misinformation?

No, we are not. We have no wish to see our children turned into helpless zombies ~ into mindless minions of the genocidal state of Israel.

Here are just ten, out of countless other reasons, NOT to honor Israel.

10 REASONS NOT TO HONOR ISRAEL

[1] On June 8, 1967, Israeli air and naval forces suddenly and brutally attacked the USS Liberty, a US naval intelligence ship flying a large Old Glory in international waters on a clear summer day. Thirty-four American sailors were killed in the attack and another 174 were wounded.

At 2p.m. on June 8, 1967, unmarked Israeli jet fighters attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. Their objective was to sink the ship, blame it on Egypt and trick America into attacking Egypt on Israel’s behalf.

[2] On March 16, 2003, American peace activist Rachel Corrie was run over and killed by a bulldozer driven by an Israeli Occupation soldier while she was attempting to prevent a home demolition. The soldier was never charged with her death.

Rachel’s last words: “My back is broken.” 

[3] In 2010, Israeli commandos kidnapped Ken O’Keefe, a former US Marine who survived the Israeli attack on the Turkish aid ship, MV Mavi Marmara which was bound for Gaza and sailing in international waters. It was during this same attack that 19 year-old American citizen Furkhan Dogan was shot multiple times at close range by Israeli forces. He was killed.

The Mavi Marmara was one of seven vessels comprising the Free Gaza Flotilla transporting humanitarian aid to Gaza. Early on Sunday morning, 31 May 2010, the Mavi Marmara was attacked in international waters in the Mediterranean by heavily-armed Israel assault troops (commandos) boarding from assault craft and helicopters, shooting at the passengers as they boarded. One of those killed was 19-year-old American citizen Furkan Dogan (above). Israel has been sued for this and other lives needlessly lost, but refuses to offer compensation to the victims’ families or even to apologize.

[4] In 2009, Israel kidnapped and jailed former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, along with 20 other noted peace activists. They were taken from aboard Spirit of Humanity, a ship carrying medical supplies, cement, olive trees and children’s toys to Gaza after the Israeli invasion in December 2008-January 2009. Nearly 1,500 people ~ mostly civilians ~ were killed with another 10,000 wounded. Damaged or destroyed were 50,000 homes, 800 industrial properties, 200 schools, 39 mosques and two churches. The supplies were confiscated by the Israeli navy.

[5] Out of over 700 General Assembly resolutions passed since the UN’s 1945 establishment, nearly 450 condemn Israel. None have been passed against any Arab country. In other words, out of 193 nations in the UN, over 60% of all General Assembly resolutions condemned just ONE member: Israel.

[6] Israel recently shunned a US president by refusing a settlement-freeze offer on stolen Palestinian land in return for a 10 billion dollar incentive (bribe).

[7] Israel is the only Middle Eastern country where sodomy, far from being a crime, is actually encouraged. Israel has the highest per capita consumption of prostitutes in the world and an ever-increasing rate of premarital sex with its attendant evils of venereal disease and abortion. Israeli media portrays Jesus Christ as a bastard and the Virgin Mary as a whore, in accordance with Talmudic traditions, yet is happy to celebrate its own Gay Pride parades where the most offensive displays of sexual deviancy are allowed. Why does Christians United for Israel like to give its backing to a country whose immorality rivals that of Sodom and Gomorrah?

[8] Israel has for a long time engaged in espionage on the US and stolen our top secrets, selling them to our enemies, thereby damaging our national security.

[9] Israel has imposed collective punishment against the Palestinians. This it has done by kidnapping them, by maintaining a siege against them, by subjecting them to indefinite imprisonments, by midnight raids on their houses, by “target assassinations,” by land theft, by demolishing their houses, and by uprooting their centuries-old olive trees ~ the main source of their livelihood.

Citizens in Deir Al-Hatab village, Nablus district, were stunned at the sight of 200 of their olive trees damaged in the fields after Jewish settlers poured sewage over their crops.

[10] It has been documented in both Palestinian and Israeli media and in court proceedings that Israeli Occupation Forces are operating a Palestinian butchery at Abu Kabir in Tel Aviv. Israeli forces routinely kidnap Palestinians at checkpoints, house raids, and hospital wards; or exhume them from cemeteries in order to harvest their organs for profit inside and outside Israel ~ all without the family’s knowledge. American rabbis have been caught  buying stolen body parts (e.g., kidneys) for a small sum  and then selling them to rich American Jews for a huge profit.

PLEA FOR RESTRAINT

Readers of this article are strongly urged to contact Van Buren High School Superintendent, Tim Myers, and protest his decision to allow Christians United For Israel (CUFI) to propagandize his students and treat them like guinea pigs in a Zionist indoctrination camp. Finally, we ask CUFI to act with restraint and decency and STAY AWAY from Van Buren High School premises. Not everyone welcomes their presence there. They are urged to show consideration for those parents and children of Van Buren High School who do not take kindly to racist propaganda masquerading as Christianity. 

If Jesus Christ were alive today, he would be among the occupied, not among the occupiers. He would be among the dispossessed, not among the land grabbers. He would be among the victims, not the oppressors!
